Tiny little grains of sand,
How I tried to pick them all;
What a fool I was to think
That I can seize them as they crawl...
The more I tried to clasp them tight,
The more they rushed to slip away;
Those were the ceaseless 'sands of time'
Meant for just a glimpse 'n gone forever!
